  1. Well, imo “Lawrence” should be higher than some…but hey, it’s just taste. In a word, nice! Thy blog shall be linked. More Bogart & Bacall in the ranking, if I may request… cheers!

  2. I’m doing this too. Haven’t got very far. Wings is available on YouTube, BTW.

  3. I’m also doing this project as well, and reporting about it on my blog. You’re a ways ahead of me (I’m only 18 movies in, but have been viewing them in somewhat random order), but I’m glad to see some similar opinions about many of the movies on here. Particularly, it’s nice to see appreciation for the underrated Grand Hotel, a lack of fawning over the overrated Casablanca, etc. Haha, that probably sounds a little opinionated, but after all, what are blogs for?

BTW, Andrew r. is right, Wings is available on YouTube, and so is Cavalcade and Rebecca (although Cavalcade has Spanish subtitles, which can get a little distracting). Haven’t seen Wings yet, but I did watch Cavalcade (which was mediocre) and Rebecca (which was very good).

  4. Hey man nice job – you’re well ahead of me, I’m not even 10 films into my attempt yet! I’ve just my blog, feel free to check it out and offer some advice, I really dig how simply you’ve structured the blog. My favourite so far – ‘It Happened One Night’, because I don’t think there’s anything which could make the movie better…

  5. I give my overall Best Actor to George C. Scott, myself. Then again, Patton is also my favorite movie…

BTW, you’d better check your Queue; Rebecca and Wings are available now. Still no word on Cavalcade (which I have seen, but it is hard to find). :)

  6. Ryan my friend, great to see you’re nearly finished…lucky you! A question…will you be watching all of the Lord of The Rings movies? After all, I believe it is generally accepted that Return of the King is a placeholder for all the films. I know I’ll be going with all three extended editions when I make it there! Have fun!

    • I did watch all three LOTR movies and I must say, as much as I can appreciate them, that’s just not my genre. Fantasy movies rarely rate well with me. I prefer movies that I could potentially relate to.
